Sadie has more than a decade of experience in event planning. She began her career as the promotions manager for a display company, then moved to producing corporate events. Sadie has knowledge working in the non-profit arena on large fundraisers, on national corporate meetings, international conferences and most resently with private events with a focus on weddings.
Having personally experienced the excitement of being engaged, followed by the daunting task of planning a wedding, Sadie has firsthand knowledge of how to make your special day an enjoyable experience. Sadie started Locally Grown Weddings in an effort to help brides streamline their planning process and to take the stress out of their event. Her involvement in your special occasion can be limited to your ‘day of coordinator’ or as involved as a ‘full-service wedding planner’ guiding you step by step through your planning experience.
Regardless of your event planning needs Sadie is sure to provide you with excellent guidance and services to insure your event is a success.
Catering – Chef Stephanie
Chef Stephanie and her team offer countless culinary delights with full service wedding catering.
She allows the seasons to identify the key elements of her menus, at times drawing
from a wide range of ethnic cuisines. Of her culinary perspective, she says, “With organic, local and seasonal ingredients the focus, I approach cooking with a balance of positive intention and playful ingenuity.” Respect for the earth and compassion for all living things shape Chef Stephanie’s personal philosophy and inspire the cuisine she creates, using only sustainable meats and fish available locally.
Chef Stephanie believes it is important to know where our food is coming from and how it was raised, from cows to corn. Her culinary training is the sum total of direct experience in a variety of Bay Area kitchens and restaurants over the last 25 years.
Chef Stephanie looks forward to collaborating with you and creating a menu for your event that guests will be talking about long after your wedding day….
Florals and Design – Madeline Trait
As a floral and event designer, Madeline combines her passion for flowers, her skills from her past career as an interior designer and the ability to bring it all together from her education as an architect.
Madeline’s education and experience in a design career give her the ability to construct and compose space by using various materials, furniture, fabrics and objects creatively. Throughout her career she always has had the desire to create art and work with her hands, leading her to continually seek and explore alternative creative outlets.
One of those creative outlets was working with flowers where she learned by experimenting with the art of composing flowers which she used to enhance her own environment. Soon it was apparent that this was her was a way to marry her passions for art, design and flowers through floral and event design.
It is Madeline’s mission to bring her clients vision to life with creativity and style while supporting her community and the environment.

Jenna is the newest addition to the Locally Grown Weddings team and is excited to be a part of this unique collective!
She started her company, JennaBeth Photography, in 2008 after several years of shooting weddings. Her background in Fine Arts adds to her photography style along with her ability to create vibrant, natural and sincere images.
Jenna has experienced being a bride first hand and knows what it feels like to be on the other side of the camera. Her goal is to make you forget that you are in front of her lens so you can just be yourself in the the most relaxed and wonderful way possible. Jenna wants to bring out your natural chemistry with one another and create memories that will last far beyond your beautiful day.
